[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=white] General
• Moonlight Wolves is a realistic wolf role play, but some dog breeds are allowed. Siberian Husky, Alaskan Husky, Alaskan Malamute, Akita, Samoyed, Eskimo Dog, Any mix with one of the above breeds [for example a Rottweiler Husky mix] are the acceptable dog breeds.
• This site is PG-13, so you need to be 13 or older to join.
• Do not post any inappropriate content on this site.
• We ask that you be respectful to everyone on this site.
• We require you to put your character's name, age, gender, and alliance in your signature. You may feel free to add any extra information about your characters. If you are having any problems with doing this please click here to see the Signature Tutorial.
• You may have as many characters as you want, but you must keep them all active. Between every activity check, you will need to have posted each of your wolves in a role play at least once, otherwise you will get a warning, and if you fail to role play your wolf between the next activity checks, we will force you to either give up that wolf for adoption or simply have it disappear.
• If you are to be inactive for a week or more, please post in the going away board.
Create a Character
• You must use the form provided for you that you can find here, but feel free to add any extra information to it.
• Feel free to add a picture or image that represents your character, but keep in mind that you will still have to fill in the required information with the required amount of words. Be sure to give credit to whoever made/took the image.
• The Appearance, Personality, and History sections of the form must each be at least 125 words long. Be very descriptive, creative, and do not to repeat yourself. If you need help, go here and scroll down for help.
• Do not copy someone else's character whether they are on this site or on another. We will not tolerate copiers.
• Keep the colors realistic. There will be no green and blue wolves. They should not have things like earrings either, unless they have been with humans in the past and the accessories were able to stay.
• Gay, Lesbian, and Bisexual wolves are allowed.
• You cannot create a pregnant character.
• At the bottom of the form, it will require you to post a password. The password can be found in this thread somewhere. When you find it, copy it and paste it where it asks you to put it in the form, that way we know you read the rules.
• You must choose a Role Play (RP) color that will be official for your wolf. You may also choose a speaking color if you wish. The color can be from the drop down menu of colors provided or a Hex Color Code one.
Role Playing
• You can not role play your character until a staff member accepts it.
• You can only have two characters that hold the position of alpha/alphaess.
• Your role play replies must at least be 200 words. Be sure to be as descriptive as possible.
• When you role play, be sure you only role play what the other member agrees to.
• Swearing is allowed, but try to limit it.
• Don't bother members to reply to role plays you have with them. They will reply when they can so be patient with them.
• When you and another member are done with a thread, be sure to PM one of the staff saying that you are done with the thread so we can move it to the "Retired Threads" board.
• To speak out of character in a RP post, put OOC before your message.
Breeding
• Your character cannot breed until it's at least 2 years old.
• Your character may force-breed with another character as long as it is okay with that character's owner.
• Breeding between packs is only permitted if the rulers of both packs agree to it, or if you are willing to deal with the consequences if you get caught.
• You may be descriptive when doing a breeding role play, but be sure to put [MATURE] in the title to warn members.
• When setting a litter up for adoption, be sure to use the form that you can find here when making the thread. The two members involved in the breeding will decide how many pups will be in the litter, the birthing order, genders, and alliances, but the members adopting the pups can decide the rest. When adopting a pup, be sure to make it look like its parents.
• The password is Rose.
• A litter usually contains 4-6 whelps, but it may contain less.
• All pups in a litter age together. The two members that own the parents of the whelps will decide when the pups age. Click here to check Pup Age Updates.
• A pup is considered an adult at the age of 2.
Fighting
• Before characters fight, the owners of the characters must make a contract and agree to it. A contract is basically just a set of rules based on the fight.
• If you are challenging an alpha for its position, and there are two alphas, both may fight against you.
• During a fight, you are allowed to have unlimited attacks, but please be realistic. Dodges are limited to 2 dodges per post.
• You may fend off an attack, meaning the attack will not be exactly where it was desired, but will still inflict about the same amount of pain on your wolf. Fending off attacks does not count as a dodge.
• Your fight will be judged by a staff member that does not have a character involved in the fight. Once the fight is over, the staff member judging the fight will determine the winner, and the injuries each character in the fight obtained.
• The fight will last until one character surrenders or is unable to fight any longer, or both owners decide to stop the fight.
• If it is a pack fight, then it could also be ended by one of the members in the fight if they don't reply in 7 days. If that happens, the other member's character will win the fight, and the staff member judging will determine the injuries each character has obtained. There is no limit to the latest you can reply in a general fight.[/blockquote]

[/blockquote][/blockquote]
