The sun had set, leaving the forest in complete darkness, making it impossible to see where you were going. The darkness didn't stop the shadow colored wolf though. Jaira liked night, because it was dark, eerie, and unpredictable, things that appealed to her greatly. Tonight she completely blended in with her surroundings, even with the snow covered ground of the forest. The thick canopy caused there to be total darkness, letting Jaira blend in completely with her surroundings. Even if her blood red oculars couldn't see anything, she continued to proceed forward, not letting the darkness stop her. She took each step cautiously, making sure she didn't trip over any of the damn roots of the trees that were sprawled throughout her path. When she felt one with her paw, she just simply stepped over it, so she wouldn't trip over it and land flat on her face like a complete idiotic. She continued with her technique until she was out of the forest.
Instead of being welcomed with a clear atmosphere, she was welcomed with an eerie dense fog. A small smile crept on her maw as she thought about how dark this place was and how it suited her greatly. She walked through the fog, using her crimson red eyes, even though they weren't much help since the fog was so dense. Before she knew it, she was walking through chilled water. She used the same technique she used in the forest so she wouldn't accidentally step a hole, and she kept using it until she was on dry land again. She shook her black coat violently, ridding it of the excess water. She then sat her haunches to the snow covered ground and let out a long howl.

Who dared bother an alpha during his sleep? If it was someone looking for help, they surely would not receive it from him. There was also a possibility that this was a wolf searching for acceptance into the pack, but did they not know to wait patiently for the alpha to come to them, instead of calling them on as if they were the ones who decided? They could have at least waited until morning. Diabolos sighed. Was this one of those idiots that thought all darks only traveled at night and never slept? He personally preferred hurting others when he could see them.
As his irritation grew, the dark brute advanced in his lands, not sure himself why he hadn't simply left this wolf to screw itself. Perhaps he had decided, on the inside of course, that he would be a good alpha and go greet whoever was in his lands. If it was a trespasser, he'd get rid of them. But if not.. perhaps it would be someone worth meeting, someone who could help him make the pack increase in size and eventually make the world a living hell. He needed to do what was good for this pack, not be lazy and stay asleep for a few more hours. Besides, as he walked on, Diabolos realized it was almost morning after all. The first few rays of the sun shone in his pools, and the dark brute yawned as he caught on to the scent of the stranger and began to move a lot quicker towards it. The pack had been rather quiet lately, maybe this would turn out better than he'd anticipated.
Finally, a female came into view. She was simply sitting there, staring in his direction. The dark brute could not see her very clearly, but he knew immediately it was her who had called him. She was no intruder; or at least was definitely not a fragile little creature. Her build was strong, and the glint in her eye was enough to let him know she meant business. Diabolos figured she was seeking acceptance, given the fact that she had sat here waiting for him instead of simply infiltrating the pack, and so he decided on giving her a chance to explain herself. If she passed his test, this fae could become the fourth member of Charna."Welcome to Charna." His voice boomed in the silence that had reigned over the lands. "I am Diabolos, the alpha of this pack. If you worship your life, you will tell me what you are doing in my lands, and why it was so important to bother me instead of simply waiting at the borders. You knew I would come eventually, so I want a reason why you were so impatient you tried to order me to come here. You never tell an alpha what to do." The brute growled at the newcomer, his stance dominant and showing he would not take any crap from her. One mistake, and she was gone.

Several moments passed as the demonic dame continued to wait for the alpha of this pack. She still hadn't caught his scent which meant that he was either taking his time, or he was taking care of some important matters. The sun was beginning to rise, making Jaira acknowledge that is was now early morning, and it just then that she caught scent of the alpha, and it didn't take long for him to appear. Even though the fog was still as dense at it was when she had arrive, she could make out the figure of the grey alpha. He walked with dominance, like most ruling wolves would do. His stride though had a dark way to it that the alphas of a dark pack possess. He seemed somewhat irritated, making the dame aware that she had awoken the king. He spoke in a booming dark voice, welcoming her to Charna, but after that he got right down to business with her. He introduced himself as Diabolos, alpha of this pack. Then he went on to be stern with her about how you never order an alpha to come to you. She admitted that her howl had a bit of an ordering sound to it, but it was part of her nature, and she couldn't help it. He also aske her what her purpose was in his lands, and she didn't waste any of their time. "Hello Diabolos, I am Jaira. My purpose here in your lands is to seek acceptance into your pack. I apologize for how there was some order in my howl, I didn't quite mean to be ordering but it is part of my nature. Once again I apologize," she said emotionlessly.

She seemed strong, unafraid of him. Even when he threatened her, spoke harshly, growled and gave her a glance not many like looking into, she remained calm and steady. She did apologize, which is somewhat a sign of weakness, but it was a good move considering he was the alpha and she knew if she didn't, she wouldn't last much longer. So far she seemed good enough. Well built, from what he could see, strong, and intelligent. He'd have to test her a bit further to see, though. "Very well, Jaira. You will need to control that nature, because I will not accept it any further." Diabolos wasted no time with courtesies, or being nice, but went straight to the point. This fae was not worth his entire day, though he did have to be careful choosing members to join his pack, so he said what he had to and would then move along to more important things.
"You say you seek acceptance here. Why should I allow you in? What could you bring to this pack?" Diabolos watched her critically, advancing towards her until he was but a few feet away, his eyes staring straight into hers. Slowly he circled her while she came up with some kind of answer to his questions, hoping she wouldn't say something completely idiotic. Oh, the many idiots he knew he'd meet at one point or another. Ones who would come here because they're too weak to survive on their own, and think a home would be nice, or ones who were lost and thought he'd just let them get away with the knowledge they had of his pack. There would be too many of them, he knew, but he sincerely hoped this fae was not one of them. He had wasted too much time for her to be worthless. Once he'd went around her charcoal-colored body, the dark brute took a few steps away, still watching her, and once more simply stood in a dominant stand in front of her, awaiting her answers.
