The water swayed back and forth against her legs, giving her a cold sensation. Peace entered into the atmosphere; it was almost as if there was no sound but the crashing of the waves. The sun was blindingly brilliant, and made Empire close her eyes each time she looked up. The birds made enchanting sounds that hypnotized even the most hard-hearted creature. The clouds seemed as brilliant as ever. But something was out of the picture: it was cold. Very cold. The air was dry, ice-cold and merciless. It swept across all the beach and lifted the sand up to her eyes. As she walked, the fishes swimmed carelessly in the water. She smiled at the innocent creatures. But, suddenly, her stomach growled. She was starving and it kinda bothered her, since she didn't like to kill.
She scanned the water and stood quiet, not moving a muscle. Even if she wanted to run away and eat grass rather than killing a living creature, her wolf instinct would help her out. Her ears perked up and her tail was tense. She was shaking but it wasn't that noticeable. The silver-colored fish swam brushing against her fur. She licked her maw, and hoped that something or someone would kill the fishes instead of her. "Oh, God... please forgive me!" she said in a worried tone of voice. She then lowered her head and body and opened her mouth, getting ready for the kill. A possible victim stared at her stunning white fur, moving with the water. She then with a killing blow grabbed the medium-sized fish and banged it against the floor until she secured it was dead. She then started to eat it to the bone. When she was done, she stood up and stretched. She walked away from the carcass and layed down under a palm tree, relaxing in the wind. She lowered her head and closed her eyes and sighed. So. Peaceful.
After a few minutes, she found herself in a deep sleep, nothing could wake her up. Not even the sound of the waves crashing, not even the birds, not even the wind, not even the smell of the fishes, or not even indigestion. She was at peace of mind, hoping to have some company. But, for now, she decided to sleep, wait and see what the day brings to her.

The sky was clear for the first time in days. Not many clouds dared to form in the sky today. The sun shined brilliantly, lighting up the whole beach in a beautiful manor, making the dark blue water of the sea shine ever sho brightly. The leaves of the palm trees that lined the beach swayed in the cold air, reminding the brute that is was still winter. His somewhat thick coat allowed him to forget that is was his least favorite season of the year. There wasn't much color or liveliness in the winter, and those two factors made Zephan hate this season. With the lack of colors everywhere, it made each land look so bland. This beach however, was filled with color, the snowy white blanket didn't even dare to cover the colors of this wonderful land, which is why the male was here, to be surrounded by color. Winter had had it's effects on the beach, like the chilling air the swayed the palm trees and caused the white sand to swirl up in the air and cover you. The low temperatures made the land empty of company, and made the graceful dark blue waters chilly. If only spring would come faster, he thought to himself as his black padded paws began to make there way through the smooth white sand.
Zephan's purpose at this beach was that he wanted to relax, aside from being surrounded by color. He had been traveling a lot lately, getting himself accustomed to these new lands. He had never seen such a world so vast. He was only familiar with the packs, and only half of the unclaimed lands. He was familiar with this land though, which is another reason why he came here. He wanted to be in a land that he knew quite while so that he could just sit and relax and not worry about not knowing who came around here or what prey was available here. Here, he was worry free and carefree, which made it easy for him to relax. Once he was about half way down the beach, he planted himself in the sand, and rolled over on his back, exposing his black belly. His faded green eyes eyed the seagulls that were flying around in circles right above him in the sky. They began to make him feel dizzy, so he shut his eyes and let out a long sigh. He loosened up his muscles and then just laid still, listening to the soothing sounds of the waves. He was almost asleep when he heard a dame's voice coming from a ways to the right from where he was at. Curious, he got up and trotted to where the scent of the dame lead him.
When he reached the dame, she was under a palm tree taking a nap. She was an average sized dame with some muscles. A nice coat of pure ivory covered her slender body. She had a scar on her face that told him that she was a tough one, but for some reason, she had a soft and friendly look to her as she slept. He wasn't sure if he should wake her up because she might attack him, but it wouldn't hurt to see who the dame was because she interested him for some reason. "Hello mam," he said shyly.

A black figure stood still on the horizon. Its claws swung across her face, staining her elegant face with crimson red blood. The pain was horrible in many, many ways. She flew through the air, falling to a rock and hitting herself against it. Even more innocent blood was splattered against every surface. Furious roars ran across the heavens and scattered some birds away from some trees nearby. They casted shadows that rested upon the white, and now red, body. She was in a state of total blackness. She heard the roars very far away, as if they were upon a mile of a distance. Hour-like minutes passed by, and her body was still resting, tense on the swaying grass. The bear ran away, but the crime scene was still there. Suddenly, it all came back. All her senses, all the unbearable pain, all the memories. Everything. She widely opened her eyes and screamed to the top of her lungs. It echoed across the horizon, zooming in and out of the ears of many nearby creatures. But when she least expected it, everything turned white...
Her vision was blurry as she opened her silvery eyes. A small tear ran down, but quickly disappeared beneath her thick, flawless white fur. As she yawned, she lifted her head and saw the shape and form of a wolf, blurry to her, but real to her eyes. As her vision got less blurry by each passing second, she suddenly saw the wolf she was looking at. She opened her eyes widely when she stared at the wolf's faded-green eyes. "Erm... uh... erhhm...!! H-hi! Uh..." she said as she stood up rapidly and backing away a few steps. She didn't know where did he come from or why was he here. She pressed her ears against her skull and looked down to the floor. "Uh... how... how did you find me here...?" she said when she noticed he didn't have any company. Empire then sat down as she sighed. She then started to observe the male that was in front of her. Average sized, strong. His fur varied from grey, russet brown, black, and had faded green eyes to go with his interesting appearance overall.
She wagged her tail a little bit in a barley-noticeable way. Her heart jumped up and down against her chest, wanting to explode. Until this day, she has met many wolves in her life, specially males, but something about this one made her heart jump. She felt awkward, since generally she didn't feel like this about wolves, except her last mate, which made her suffer uncontrollably. She didn't like killing, but for some reason she did. She killed that idiot and she wasn't afraid to admit it. But enought with the past, now she was confronting a new part of her life. She had to smile even if the scars of her past could be seen, both physically and sometimes emotionally. But for the latter, you had to get to know her from the inside out to notice. But hopefully someone would finally heal those scars and make the pain go away... forever.
Empire's fur moved gracefully with the neverending wind that hugged her entire body with care. The air was clean, cold and refreshing. The ocean shore was filled with life that day; the sky was amazingly blue and the clouds were as white as herself. But then she returned from her thinking voyage and came back to Earth. She then looked directly at the stranger's eyes and stared. She smiled and then whispered a simple question. "What's your name...?" Empire sighed as she stated, "My name is Empire."

Faded green as watched curiously as a tear ran down the white maw of the dame, and then quickly disappeared. Though he was pretty shy usually, it bothered him to see even a stranger be sad. He was usually a happy go lucky guy, but when he sees someone that is sad or in pain, it makes him sad. Though he hated how that always happened, it helped him be able to understand each individual more, by feeling somewhere close to how they felt. That is hoe his body tried to get him to connect with others, by feeling the emotions that they felt. It was weird, but Zephan was use to it by now. He came up with a theory that the reason why is able to connect so well is because he is anti-social, and he keeps on going by the theory without questioning it because it made sense to him. He then began to try and understand why the dame was so upset, but he couldn't quite figure it out, which bothered him ever so slightly. His dismay, however, was then interrupted by the dame's voice. Her voice sounded almost heavenly to him, and it sent chills down his spine. He listened as she managed to greet him after a couple of tries. She then backed away a couple steps, showing Zephan that this dame was unsure about him, and it made him af to do something to assure her. "I won't hurt you," he replied softly.
He watched at the dame's ivory auds flattened against her cranium as she looked down at the ground. She appeared to be uncomfortable around him, so he kept the distance between the two of them, and studied the dame from afar. That was just when her heavenly voice spoke again, making his heart skip a beat, asking how she had found him. "I was just taking a stroll on the beach when I caught your scent, so I followed it because I was curious," he said a bit more easily. Even though the dame wasn't feeling much easier around him, he began to feel easier around her. There was just something about her that made him completely at ease around her, even though they had just literally met. His tail began to wag slowly, as he began to relax, and finally sat on his haunches in a relaxed position as his tail continued to wag, shifting the white sand with each movement his tail made. He then saw her head come up as she began to study him cautiously. He kept eye contact with her silvery orbs, and remained still, making sure that he didn't make a single movement that would frightened the dame. He had never tried this hard to try and have a conversation with someone.
His eyes saw movement coming from the ivory dame's tail, and that was a sign that she was a bit more at ease with him. The fact that she felt more at easy, made his tail wag even more, and made a soft and friendly smile appear on his maw. He continued to watch the dame, in a polite manor, and not in a gawking manor. She was fairly pretty, despite the nasty scar she had on her elegant ivory face. Her silvery orbs were filled with so much emotion, and it made Zephan overwhelmed with how many emotions she was feeling. Her eyes had mainly a sad look to them, even though they had a little sparkle of happiness in them. He then wanted to know what had happened to her to make her so sad, but he knew better than to pry. Plus the dame was still trying to get comfortable with being in the presence of him. It was then that she asked his name, and introduced herself as Empire. He had never heard of such a name, but it had a beauty to it that he could not describe. "Nice to meet you Empire, you have a pretty name. My name is Zephan, but you may feel free to call me Zeph," he said in a soft friendly tone.

Zephan...
The name went inside of her like a lovely, always desired whisper. It entered her whote body and soul. It vibrated through her veins and her muscled relaxed. It sent chills down her spine, making her fur stand up softly. It was intoxicating yet relaxing in some way. That name had just made miracles without him knowing. Her eyes were widely opened and her body position became less tense. She felt like if she was flying. But, what the heck? She just met the guy, and she already felt like this? Weird. Strange. Strange and bizarre, awkward and unexplainable. But whatever. She couldn't care less.
NOT DONE.<3
